In the tradition of the American podcast Song Exploder Omroep Zwart is now also making a podcast in which musicians analyze their own music. In Tracks artists are allowed to snuggle close to their songs, to tell about their creation from that comfort.
Naaz shares the uncertainty she experienced during her breakthrough, talks about the depression that followed and the bourgeois life during which she distanced herself from music for two years – her prizes hidden in her closet. In Berlin she found inspiration again and back in the studio, after two hours of worrying in a fetal position, she throws out her comeback track ‘Never Have I Ever’ in one take.
