The climate chaotists of the last generation are currently drawing attention to themselves with actions every day. But things don’t always go smoothly for the climate rescuers. Protests always go wrong and make people smile.
Upside down world on Hohenzollerndamm
Was this climate slob a little tired? A member of the last generation stuck to the Hohenzollerndamm motorway exit on Monday morning. The banner he was holding was turned upside down. The glue didn’t notice. Nobody could read the inscription “Away from fossil fuels, towards fairness”.
Cars ignore blockade
A failed adhesive blockade on Ernst-Reuter-Platz last April caused a smile. One car after the other rolled across the lawn on the central island past the blockade, the target of the sticking action: missed!
Fake construction workers busted
Last January, climate extremists disguised as construction workers tried to carve up Invalidenstrasse at the Federal Ministry of Transport with a jackhammer. After setting up fake construction site boundaries, they were discovered and were stopped by the police. Instead of the usual red and white barriers, they use orange barriers – the lack of street signs also made people skeptical.
Intact garage entrance to the Bundestag blocked
Not a single car rolled into the underground car park here, even without protest. In December 2022, three climate chaotics blocked the access to the Paul-Löbe-Haus on Otto-von-Bismarck-Allee opposite the Bundestag daycare center at minus 9 degrees. It’s just stupid that the access road wasn’t used and the action was unnecessary.
