Climate activist glues himself to the table during live broadcast Beau

During a live broadcast of Jinek, which will be presented on Tuesday by Beau van Erven Dorens, an activist has glued himself to the table.

Climate activist Jelle de Graaf and director of the Van Gogh Museum Emilie Gordenker were invited to talk about the ‘new method of activists to draw attention to their message’.

During the conversation, De Graaf suddenly climbed on the table. “What are you going to do?” said Beau. Then he glued himself.

“I’m stuck here on a live program and I’m going to talk about the climate and the ecological crisis here,” the climate activist began his story after he sat down on the table. “You have a duty to report honestly about the climate and ecological crisis. A duty you fail to fulfill. The lives of all of us are at stake. Your life is at stake,” he said to Beau, who temporarily takes over the presentation from Eva Jinek because she has the corona virus.

Beau did not call the action “very sympathetic and civilized.” Other table guests are not allowed to speak, he said.

After the commercials, De Graaf was removed from the table. How this happened is currently unknown. Museum director Emilie Gordenker clearly does not agree with the action. “Isn’t this overkill?” she says.

The spokesperson for RTL was not yet available for comment on Tuesday evening.
