Claudia Pandolfi he’s in the room with The truth is outblack comedy by Davide Minnella (also in the cast Claudio Amendola And Claudia Gerini, ed), in which participants in a cynical TV game only have to tell the truth to win the jackpot. In the story the Roman actress is the presenter of the program. And when it comes to driving he certainly doesn’t hold back, like on the set of Drought Of Paolo Virzì with Vinicio Marchioniwhen behind the wheel of one Porsche Panamera it went really strong. In life, however, he prefers the Mini.

In Outside the Truth you are a super cynical presenter. How much fun did you have?
”Quite a lot! It was a complex film because what we are telling was shot with long 15-minute takes. We were trying to simulate the television context. All this created an absurd suggestion. So for me it was easy to adhere to the impetus of my character, a combative and tough TV presenter. Once upon a time she was very smart, but now she is a woman ready to collapse at the first commercial break.”

Speaking of truth. You have to tell us everything about your passion for cars. Do you like driving?
”I know how to drive very well, I have to admit it. I have an anecdote. The film Siccità di Paolo begins with my character driving a car. At my side is a terrified Vinicio Marchioni. I drove that car at 250 mph on the Muro Torto (a section of the ancient Aurelian Walls, in Rome, ed.). It was a turbo Porsche Panamera.”

Instead, what car do you drive every day?
”Rome is a complex city, it’s very tiring. There have become too many cars and so I try to use the car as little as possible. But if you ask me to get around I’m more willing to do it by car, rather than by train or plane. I have a simple small car. Where do you go in Rome?”

What was your first car after getting your license?
“A very old Mini that I paid a million lire for. It was practically a go-kart.”
