What Elversberg, Ulm and Münster succeeded could also succeed: the march from the regional league to the 2nd league. But the team from Lausitz can no longer afford big mistakes.

FC Energie Cottbus collected a hearty gossip in Munich in the promotion race of the 3rd league. The team of coach Claus-Dieter, called Pele, lost 1: 5 against the TSV 1860. Energy was 0: 2 behind after 18 minutes. Dickson Abiama (15th) and Tunay Deniz (18th) had put the “Löwen” from Munich in the lead. As a result, energy remained harmless, while the hosts struck again. Patrick Hobsch scored the 3-0 break (37th).

Wollitz changed four times for the second half, but the hoped -for effect failed to do. Again it was Hobsch who hit the Cottbus Tor (50th). It was only in the 71st minute that the actually strong guests from Lausitz were successful, Timmy Thiele scored the honor goal for energy. But a “lion” put the end of the end. It was Julian Guttau who scored the 5-1 for 1860 in the 89th minute.

By the way, the game experienced the biggest excitement before the first goal. In the fourth minute, Munich’s Soichiro Kozuki (formerly Schalke 04) clearly pressed a ball over the line. Axel Borgmann’s rescue was actually too late. The referee team around Felix Bickel did not see that and let it continue.

After all: In view of the course of the game, the impartial decision of the referees did not have to lose any points.

And Cottbus also gets away with a blue eye. Because pursuers Saarbrücken weakened in the home game against Osnabrück, won only a 1-1 and was therefore able to shorten the gap to energy by one point. Arminia Bielefeld can pass the Saarlanders on Saturday afternoon. Table leader Dynamo Dresden had already won 3-2 on Friday at the Hannover 96 U23.
