The US retail chain Claire’s Stores Inc. has appointed a new manager for the European market. On Tuesday, the company announced that Richard Flint had been appointed to the post of President of Europe. In this role, he will “manage the brand’s business on the continent in the future, concentrating above all on growth in all sales channels,” according to a press release. His tasks also included strengthening the international supply chain and further expanding the growing concession business.

Flint has “more than two decades of retail experience,” according to his new employer. Most recently, he was Chief Growth Officer at the Dutch retail chain Hema. Before that, Flint was Vice President Direct-to-Consumer at the US sporting goods company Nike Inc., who managed the business in China.
