FC Bayern Munich hosts defending champions Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final. The winner advances to the final in Budapest. Follow the game on BR24Sport in the live radio report.

The first leg was “an ode to football” (AS, Spain), the “game of the century” (Gazzetta dello Sport, Italy) or simply a “football masterpiece” (Mundo Deportivo, Spain). Paris Saint-Germain and FC Bayern fought one another eepic exchange of blows that ended 5-4 for PSG and went down as the highest-scoring semi-final in Champions League history. The second leg will take place in the Allianz Arena on Wednesday at 9 p.m.

BR24Sport will broadcast the Champions League semi-final between FC Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, May 6th from 9 p.m. in a live report BR24Radio and in Live center. Your reporters are Patricia Gabor and Edgar Endres.

Laimer replaces Davies in the starting line-up

Coach Vincent Kompany relies on the team that shone at times in Paris – with one exception: Instead of Alphonso Davies, Konrad Laimer starts at the back on the right.

Personnel situation: PSG weakened, Bayern with returnees

The starting position is relatively clear: FC Bayern needs a win by two goals in order to reach the final of the Champions League for the first time since 2020. If the Munich team scores just one more goal than the French, it will first go into extra time and then into a penalty shootout. If PSG draws or wins, the current defending champions will advance to the final in Budapest on May 30th.

While PSG has to cope with the loss of an absolutely key player in full-back Achraf Hakimi, the Munich team’s bench is filling up again. In addition to Tom Bischof, who was back in the squad after his torn muscle fiber in the 3-3 draw against Heidenheim, winger Lennart Karl (also torn muscle fiber) will probably be back in the squad against Paris.

League leadership and relegation battle, current fixtures, results and live ticker, top scorer lists, mileage and tackle statistics and much more: Football in the BR24Sport results center.
