Visma – Lease a Bike took over from Bora -Hansgrohe in December 2023. In August of this year, he assured himself of the overall victory in the Tour of the Ain. It was the first professional victory for Uijtdebroeks, which often had to do with illness and injuries.
There was a lot to do to the switch from Uijtdebroeks from Bora -Hansgrohe to Visma – Lease A Bike. The German team was initially indignant because Uijtdebroek’s contract went through them for another year. Bora-Hansgrohe finally agreed with the transfer, just like the international cycling association UCI.
