The collaboration fits within the concept of Christoff’s church tour, in which he consciously chooses a different setting than his familiar schlager stages. “I thought: if we use those beautiful churches to perform special songs, with a beautiful message, then I want to try. And it worked.”
The concert in Roeselare was the only West Flemish performance during the tour. Timothy Veryser is now heading abroad again for further opera projects.
