André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg are completely addicted to each other again. The folk singer shouted yesterday from Jávea that he will ‘never let her go’. They are currently spending the holidays with the family of his cousin Djarno Hofland in a very expensive villa. His parents, including Rachel Hazes’ sister, are also present.

Five thousand euros

The group is staying at Villa El Refugio, Patty Brard reveals at the desk Show news. “We looked very carefully at where they were, because they flew to southern Spain and they are in the town of Jávea, if I remember correctly. He went there with Monique, Djarno, his wife, their two children and Djarno’s parents.”

She continues: “There are nine of them in a beautiful house and they are enjoying the wonderful weather. We had one bit of sunshine today, but she… Yes, that is a lovely house, a beautiful villa with infinity pool, four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Five thousand euros a week. But hey, it’s actually not that expensive…”

Not with sister Rox

Is five thousand euros not that expensive? Patty: “At least, it is a lot of money, but if you can stay in it with nine people, it will be a nice week. He was completely lyrical, because Monique also turned 46 today.”

There were some rumors on the juice channels that André would also take his sister Roxeanne and her family to Spain, but that did not happen. “We had the hope that they might spend Christmas with sister Rox, but that is not the case.”

Dangerous for kids

Anyway: back to that Christmas villa. So they are in Villa El Refugio, but it only gets a 5.5 on Booking.com. Saioa in particular complains: “This house is very dangerous for children. I ended up with an 11-month-old baby and my 8-year-old daughter in the hospital after an accident,” she wrote in an worrying review.

She continues: “The design is terrible for families: one infinity pool with a steep drop ensures that you are constantly on your guard, as there is immediate danger with such a narrow pool. A chill-out zone which is more than a meter deep, right next to the pool, means that both adults and children can constantly slip.”

Sour woman

It is “totally not suitable” for small children, Saioa said. “We went back earlier because the safety of my children is the most important thing. Our holiday was a nightmare and the company that manages the villa has not offered us a solution nor are they responding to our demand for a refund.”

Anouk Smulders thinks this woman is a ‘grump’, she says in Shownieuws. “That villa has a rating of 5 or so. Then you also think: how? I have to laugh so much, because you also talk about that grumpiness, but there is probably a woman there who slept there once and writes off the sourness.”

‘You can see that!’

Is André and Monique’s son now in great danger? Patty thinks the criticism is greatly exaggerated. “Yes, this house was not child-friendly, but you can see that when you wake it up, right? Yes, with such an infinity pool…”

Anouk: “There is no fence around the swimming pool, no, that’s right.”
