The many participants clearly put time and effort into creating a magical atmosphere. Together the tractors formed a parade, perhaps a kilometer long, that brought light to these dark days.
This is not the only light parade with tractors in West Flanders: there are about nine in total. But what’s the point of that? “Getting together and celebrating,” according to one. “To give us some positive news,” according to the other. Anyway: the atmosphere was great and the decorations were countless.
