Applegate on MS and her podcast
In a recent ROLLING STONE interview about her memoir, Applegate also discussed her podcast MeSsy, With Jamie-Lynn Sigler and NextInMS.com, an MS support initiative.
“Basically we’re just going to have a whining party about MS. I always tell people that I don’t speak in flowers – and I think that’s really important,” Applegate said. “Because of the podcast, we noticed that a lot of people were saying, ‘Thank you for being so raw and weird and broken.’ And that is exactly what the platform is. We who have MS will never be truly understood. We just want to be heard. Let’s complain. Let me just be angry about it.”
