Chelsea FC will apparently soon get more fresh money into the coffers. According to consistent media reports, Christian Pulisic is moving from the Blues to AC Milan after Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Accordingly, the Rossoneri are willing to pay 20 million euros plus bonuses for the services of the 24-year-old left winger. That would bring the Londoners’ earnings to €240.8m – no club has been able to boast a higher figure so far this summer.
Pulisic switched from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea in 2019 for 64 million euros, which means that the US international is still fourth among the record departures for the black and yellow. In the star ensemble of the Londoners, who broke the 2 billion mark in terms of spending since 2013 with the Nkunku transfer, the winger hardly played a role in the past season, in which he was temporarily thrown back by a knee injury. Just one goal and one assist in 24 league games are for Pulisic, who did not play the full 90 minutes.
Nkunku just ahead of Pulisic: Chelsea FC’s most expensive purchases
It is an open secret that Chelsea would let the offensive power go if there was a corresponding offer this summer. With a sum of 20 million euros, they are ready to talk at Stamford Bridge, it was said recently. This also seems to have heard Milan, which was successful with the same sum. Money that Chelsea gratefully accepts after the high investments, especially in the last year.
Pulisic would become the 13th player to join Milan from Stamford Bridge following Loftus-Cheek, Fikayo Tomori, Olivier Giroud and Tiemoué Bakayoko most recently.
