CHIO in Aachen: Eventing: Jung subsequently punished, Auffarth wins

After the eventing competition at the CHIO, Michael Jung could only be happy about first place for a short time. He subsequently received penalty points, so victory went to Sandra Auffarth.

Kemperman explained that it took a long time before the result was known: “There was no protest. But the judges said: Please give us a moment to look at it carefully. That’s fair for the sport.”

Auffahrt is happy about the video evidence

Auffarth said in the WDR interview that she was still “A bit confused. What is certain is that I had a super good cross-country lap. Of course I’m also totally happy that I won.
