The B-SUV of the house of the Chery Group is expected for next year, a mystery remains largely. Announced many engines
Omoda presented a new model destined to strengthen its presence in the compact crossover segment. It’s called Omoda 3 and will make its debut in Italy in 2026. The technical data is still unknown, but will be available with different engines: petrol, electric and probably plug-in and full hybrid. The price list should start from about 20,000 euros for the combustion version, a step is placed under the older sisters Omoda 5 and Omoda 7, the emphasis has been put on the design: the shapes are more tense, with a strong emphasis on sharp details and a more marked visual language.
The stylistic choice
–
Omoda 3 adopts a compact and modern design, with balanced proportions designed for urban use. The idea, according to the house, was to create a vehicle for the most eclectic young people and to make them feel in a vehicle that could be ready to take off in space. The front is defined by a thin and angular light signature, while the grille is clearly integrated with the lines of the hood, creating a coherent and continuous appearance. The front optical groups, with a geometric cut, introduce a distinct stylistic language compared to the other models of the brand. The side presents tense and well -defined surfaces, with a game of lines that gives a certain dynamism without being too marked. The slightly pronounced wheel arches and the high belt line strengthen the crossover appearance, maintaining a balance between sportiness and minimalism. On the rear, the lighting extends horizontally, emphasizing the width of the vehicle. Here too, the graphic elements remain consistent with the front, with a controlled use of details and inserts, avoiding stylistic excesses. Not much is known about the interiors, but the presence of physical keys and a passenger compartment inspired by astronomy has been anticipated.
