Chimène van Oosterhout (55), known from TV programs such as Yorin Travel and her performances with Luv’, was taken away by ambulance during her Greek holiday with Tanja Jess.
The 55-year-old actress, presenter and singer Chimène van Oosterhout is currently experiencing a horror holiday in Greece. She flew there for a sponsored celebrity trip with her best friend Tanja Jess, but their holiday fun took a terrible turn once they arrived on the island of Kos.
Nightmare
Tanja announces that Chimène has been taken away in a trauma helicopter. “Our dream vacation turned into a nightmare. Chimène became unwell on Kos and was admitted acutely with heart failure, presumably due to residual damage from the chemotherapy,” she writes in a post on Instagram.
She continues: “In the meantime, we have been taken to Athens with an ambulance flight, where she has been admitted to hospital. She is in good hands here so we hope for a good outcome.”
Focus on recovery
The organization is thanked by Tanja ‘for the adequate action and all the support in handling all the hassle with luggage and such’. “Without you I would have gone mad. Thanks thanks thanks. And also a huge thank you to the medical staff of the ambulances and the hospital on Kos.”
She continues: “What a warm bath and great care provided despite limited resources. Now the next step here in Athens and all focus on Chimène’s recovery.”
