Chilly and unstable weather, with showers | Weather news

It will be chilly and unstable on Sunday, with showers during the day. The RMI also expects fresh temperatures on Monday. After that it gets a little softer.

Sunday morning the RMI already expects showers by the sea and in the northwest of the country. The showers then spread to the center of the country and eventually reach the areas south of Sambre and Meuse in the afternoon. Locally, the showers can be intense with possibly even a thunderclap.

‘in the afternoon it would then be mainly dry by the sea and then also in the northwest of the country, from the Westhoek to Antwerp. It will be cool for the time of year. The wind is moderate, and at first still quite strong at the sea, from the north.

Sunday night From the North Sea, more cloud fields are once again reaching our coastal region — where a few showers are possible — and the most northern areas of our country. Low clouds can form on the northern ridge of the Ardennes. Elsewhere it is usually partly cloudy.

It will be a fairly cool night again with minimums between 0 and 4 degrees in the Ardennes and between 4 and 8 degrees in the other regions. The north-northwesterly to northerly wind will weaken inland, but will remain moderate at sea.

Monday it is mainly dry, but cool. Cloud fields alternate with clear spells and a few showers here and there. The maximums are between 11 degrees in the high Ardennes and 15 or 16 degrees in most other regions. The wind is weak from the north or from a variable direction.

After that it gets softer, and later in the week a bit more unstable.
