Community police officers in Tilburg had to respond to a strange report on Wednesday night. Two children had decided to go freerunning just after half past two at night on the roof of a house in the Reeshof.
The boys, aged 12 and 13, ran across the roofs of a house. They did this in the middle of the night to free run – a sport in which the aim is to quickly and gracefully cover a certain route, often through the city.
The boys’ parents knew nothing. The boys were dropped off at home by the police. They were not fined. However, according to the police, the boys ‘received a punishment at home that cannot be matched by a fine’.
