Children of Humankind’s BSOs were able to follow a large carnival party via a stream on Wednesday.
The stream was recorded from a warehouse in Kerkrade.
Limburg music
The kids saw a DJ who was singing and interacting with his viewers through the screen. According to presenter Danny Pouwels, the large online children’s carnival was broadcast throughout the Netherlands. Pouwels admits that Limburg music was played and sung, but that those songs were interspersed with music by the Snollebollekes, among others.
Great success
The idea arose last year when corona prevented major carnival activities at out-of-school care. Despite the relaxation, they decided to organize another livestream. A show was staged with a live stream, which turned out to be a great success.
According to the organizers, the livestream is here to stay.
