Childcare in Langemark temporarily closed after physical injury to child

It is still unclear what exactly happened in Kiekeboe childcare in Langemark. What is certain is that the shelter will have to close for three months for the time being. “We have received a report that we take seriously. To guarantee the safety of the other children, we have decided to suspend the reception for the time being,” says Nele Wouters of Kind en Gezin.

According to Kind en Gezin, there were no previous problems with Kiekeboe. “We are now going to look at what exactly happened to take any further steps.” There is not enough supervision in the crèche. The incident happened last week.

At the childcare itself, no one is willing to respond for the time being.
