A child was injured after a collision with a car on Wibautstraat in Zaandam tonight.
The child was hit by a car at a crossing, the accident was reported to the emergency services around 6:30 p.m.
A spokesperson for the police tells NH that ‘a child is involved’. The child was taken to hospital with injuries, the spokesman said. “It is not known whether the child was walking or on a bicycle.”

It is also not clear what the age of the child is and the severity of the injuries. An investigation is currently underway into how the accident happened.
