A 12-year-old child was seriously injured on Tuesday morning on Oirschotseweg in Moergestel. The child is said to have crossed the road on a bicycle when it was hit by a van. The 12-year-old was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
The driver of the van was not injured, but according to a 112 correspondent was very emotional after the accident. The road will be closed to traffic for several hours due to police investigations.
