“Right now, Belgium appears to be the focus of an increased hybrid threat.” Chief of Defense Frederik Vansina stated this in Parliament. He refers to the incidents with drones over airports and military domains, but also to the cyber threat, the ships off our coast and the “assertive rhetoric” on social media.
