Visitors to the Jeroen Bosch Hospital in Den Bosch saved a group of goose chicks on Wednesday afternoon. Dad and Mad went to fly time for a lesson flying for their offspring, from the meter -high roof at the hospital the chicks jumped down. Bystanders caught the small water birds with their coats.
“I was able to watch a heroic action this afternoon,” says a bystander. Photos can be seen how a man and woman are folding a jacket together and using as a safety net for the tumbling goose chicks.
Two other bystanders also did not hesitate for a moment and took their own jacket to help with the rescue for the gosjes. When the animal ambulance arrived, all five had already jumped the chicks.
Although there was no question of flying, the chicks make up for it thanks to the inventive bird rescuers.
