In a few days the Italian Scacchia Federation will have its Coverciano. On September 27, at 4 pm, the new Fsi Federal Technical Center of the FSI will be inaugurated in Spilimbergo in Spilimbergo: an important milestone for the whole movement, which will thus have a unique location for the preparation and training of athletes. The choice of Spilimbergo is not accidental: the city has been hosting one of the most prestigious Italian tournaments for years, for a “friendship” with the chess officially recognized by the FSI in 2024 “Having in our region, in Spilimbergo, the headquarters of the Federal Technical Center of the Italian Scacchia Federation is a privilege that fills us with pride – underlines Luca Ciriani -. We are proud to host an ancient federation and we will do our best to bring up such a demanding discipline.
