Chess grandmaster accused of cheating demands $100 million in damages

The American chess player Hans Niemann (19) has sued world champion Magnus Carlsen and several other chess players. Niemann is demanding compensation of no less than 100 million dollars (102 million euros), because he has been openly accused of cheating by the Norwegian, among others. The American says his reputation has been “destroyed” and therefore puts high stakes in a lawsuit.
