Cherundolo becomes the head coach of Los Angeles FC, MLS – soccer

Steven Cherundolo will be unveiled on Wednesday, announced Los Angeles FC (LAFC) on Monday (03.01.2022) with. The 42-year-old Cherundolo made 87 international appearances for the club between 1999 and 2012 US team, took part in three World Cup finals and has 15 years of experience in the Bundesliga, in which he played 370 games for Hannover 96.

“I’m very excited to introduce Steve as our next head coach”said LAFC Co-President & General Manager John Thorrington on Monday: “Steve has a unique mix of international and national experience at the highest level that meets these requirements.”

The 42-year-old succeeds former US national coach Bob Bradley at the club, which was founded in 2014.
