Cher honors Betty White with her own version of opening tune ‘The golden girls’

Cher has made her own version of ‘Thank you for being a friend’, the song that served for years as the opening tune of the comedy ‘The golden girls’. The 75-year-old singer did this in response to the upcoming TV special about Betty White, the lead actress of ‘The golden girls’ who died at the end of last year at the age of 99.
