Chef Michael makes people who no longer taste anything enjoy themselves again: ‘You see tears in their eyes’

Chef Michael van ‘t Hoff often sees tears of joy in his restaurant De Burgemeester in Bleskensgraaf. He cooks for people who have lost their sense of smell and taste. With structure, temperature and stimuli he lets them enjoy again. His approach earned him an official certificate as the first restaurant in the Netherlands.
