A motorist was arrested in Bosschenhoofd on Tuesday afternoon after a chase. The driver was driving a Volvo with a Belgian license plate and was stopped on Pastoor van Breugelstraat.
A bystander said that several Dutch and Belgian police cars were chasing the Volvo. It is unclear where exactly the chase started.
The driver was allegedly laid on the ground and handcuffed during the arrest in Bosschenhoofd. Officers then took him away.
The car was searched by the police, they took a bag. It is not known exactly what was in there. The vehicle was picked up by a recovery company.
