Charli XCX goes on tour with new album CRASH

British singer-songwriter Charli XCX is touring in support of the release of her fifth studio album CRASH. In addition to concerts in the USA and Great Britain, two are also planned for Germany. The artist will perform in Berlin on May 30th and in Cologne on May 31st. She said of her tour: It will be her “fastest, furiest and most iconic tour”.

The album contains a total of twelve tracks, of which “Baby”, “Beg For You”, “New Shapes (feat. Christine and the Queens & Caroline Polachek)” and “Good Ones” have already been released. Musically, Charli XCX combines 80s pop with the diverse sound aesthetics of synths on her record.

Charli XCX, whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, is best known for her 2012 hit “I Love It” with Icona Pop. The track became the best-selling single of the year and went 22 times platinum. As a songwriter, she has also written lyrics for Rita Ora, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani and Selena Gomez.
