In the meantime, the Belgian former Prime Minister has completed a negative self-test, but is working at home pending the result of a PCR test.
Michel normally had to participate in a debate on the December European summit in Strasbourg on Wednesday afternoon. The debate has been cancelled. Von der Leyen was also absent from the plenary session of parliament on Monday after her driver tested positive.
