Eintracht Frankfurt still topped his defensive weakness from the Bundesliga and collected a hearty clap in the Champions League at Atlético Madrid.
In the 5: 1 (3-0) for the Spaniards, everything was already clear at the break. Giacomo Raspadori (4th), Robin Le Normand (33rd) and Antoine Griezmann (45. + 1) met Giuliano Simeone (70.) and of course again Julian Alvarez (82nd), who just had a great run.
Both teams had gone into the duel with a strong tailwind from their national leagues. But even after that, Atlético didn’t have enough, pushed on to the fifth goal. This finally favored the substitute Aurèle Amenda with a completely unnecessary handball that Slavko Vinčić only punished after video evidence – Alvarez crowned his super run with a double pack against Ream with a cheeky lupfer and a three -pack against Rayo Vallecano.
