Chantal Janzen and her fellow jury members in Holland’s Got Talent will from now on wear the same clothes on every day of recording. Much better, says television expert Tina Nijkamp. “Finally!“
It was Tina Nijkamp, the former channel boss of SBS 6, a thorn in the eye that the faces of Holland’s Got Talent wore different outfits during the recording days last year. As a result, they were often seen in changing sets per audition episode, which made it all look very edited.
Clothing criticism
At the time, Tina expressed surprise at the program’s production team. “Why don’t they tell the jury and presenter: please wear the same clothes every recording day. This makes it easy to assemble. Now there are a lot of (bright) color changes per broadcast.”
If the judges wear the same clothes on all shooting days, you don’t have that problem, Tina explained at the time. “Because of the same clothing, every broadcast seems to have been recorded in one day. It is also the only talent show that does this.”

The recordings of the new season of Holland’s Got Talent started last weekend. Tina wrote to her about that analysis channel: “Hopefully the judges DO wear the same clothes every shooting day this year… So that you don’t see them changing clothes every time during the editing…”
A little later: “Update: various DMs show that judges WILL wear the same clothes every shooting day this year. Finally. 🙏”
Armpit pads
A disadvantage of wearing the same clothes is that after a while sweat odors can arise in the outfits of Chantal and her colleagues.
The sets can of course be steamed in the meantime, but wearing armpit pads is also an option. This is a kind of sanitary napkin, but for your armpits.
