After the official announcement of the takeover of the traditional Austrian brand Palmers, the Danish laundry company Change Lingerie has now given further insights into the motives for the merger and highlighted the cultural, strategic and emotional importance of this new chapter.

In a recently published LinkedIn contribution, Change emphasized the strong connection and the potential of both brands. While Palmers looks back at over a century of expertise in the area of lingerie and a deeply rooted relationship with the Austrian customers, Change positions itself as a focus on fit, quality and customer proximity across national borders.

The communication of change is characterized by confidence and appreciation for the joint development. Instead of presenting the takeover as a purely structural expansion, the company sees it as a community path of two brands that combines a philosophy of craftsmanship, style and service. “Palmers not only brings tradition, but also innovative energy,” says the post.

With 160 branches in 11 countries-including over 110 Palmers locations in Austria and a growing presence in Germany-Change underlines his ambition to further expand the market position in Central Europe and at the same time preserve the brand identity and the trust of the Palmers customers.

At the same time, the company warmly welcomed all Palmers employees and confirmed its commitment to continuity and partnership-based cooperation.
