Michael Diekmann joins the supervisory board of FC Bayern Munich. From the next meeting, he will replace Werner Zedelius, who has been a member of the committee for more than ten years.

Diekmann is chairman of the supervisory board of Bayern sponsor Allianz. Zedelius was also a seconded representative of the company.

“In Michael Diekmann, we are gaining a new, first-class source of inspiration for our committee. He will help us to further develop the club with his personality and his economic competence,” Bavaria’s supervisory board chairman Herbert Hainer was quoted as saying in a statement.
