Larissa Mühlhaus warming up with the German national team

As of: April 24, 2026 • 2:35 p.m

Larissa Mühlhaus is joining the Eintracht Frankfurt Women in the summer. The Hessians believe that the change of the German national player is “with a signal effect”.

The move from national soccer player Larissa Mühlhaus to Eintracht Frankfurt is perfect. The 23-year-old offensive player comes from Bundesliga rivals Werder Bremen on a free transfer and will receive a contract on the Main until June 30, 2029, as the Hessians announced.

“I also informed one or two of my teammates from the national team about the club in advance,” said Mühlhaus. The former Hamburg player has twelve goals and five assists in 20 games this season.

“Take the next step”

“The transfer is one with a signaling effect internally and externally,” said Frankfurt’s sports director Babett Peter. “It is special when national players decide for our vision and our common path.” Mühlhaus made his debut in the DFB selection in March.

“It was clear to me that I wanted to take the next step after the season,” said Hamburg-born Mühlhaus, explaining her move to the current third-placed team: “Eintracht has the best conditions for this and is a club that is always at the top.” About the impending transfers HR-Sport had already reported in advance.
