The fashion house Chanel has added additional competencies to the board of directors. In recent days, London-based parent company Chanel Limited appointed three new non-executive directors. This emerges from corresponding notifications that were published in the British commercial register.

One of the three new additions is Simone Bagel-Trah. The 56-year-old has been chairwoman of the supervisory board of the German consumer goods group Henkel AG & Co. KGaA since 2009. She also heads the company’s shareholders’ committee. From 2014 to 2024 she was also a member of the supervisory board of the chemical company Bayer AG.

In addition to Bagel-Trah, Chanel appointed two other recognized business experts. These are Teresa Yuk Yin Ko, who played a key role in setting up the Asian business of the international business law firm Freshfields and holds various management positions there, and William Touche, who as London Senior Partner played a key role in the British organization of the management consultant Deloitte.
