Chancellor candidate Merz in TV debate with rival Scholz: ‘No collaboration with AfD’

The current German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) has to catch up with the conservative challenger Friedrich Merz (CDU) in the polls. The first leadership debate at our eastern neighbors was mainly about limit illegal migration, support for Ukraine and the faltering economy on Sunday evening.
