Chance for BVB? Luka Jovic wants to return to the Bundesliga

Luka Jovic’s commitment to Real Madrid turned out to be a huge misunderstanding. Now the former Eintracht Frankfurt professional is apparently aiming for a departure from the royal team. Does BVB get involved in poker for the striker?

As “Sky” reports, Jovic is considering leaving Real Madrid next summer. And what’s more: the Serb wants to switch back to the Bundesliga.

However, the broadcaster does not reveal which club Jovic should move to. Recently, however, there were rumors that Borussia Dortmund was in contact with Jovic’s advisors.

According to a report by the Spanish portal “Dario Gol”, Real Madrid is trying to use Jovic as a bargaining chip in poker for BVB superstar Erling Haaland. The black and yellow should be interested, it is said. Real boss Florentino Pérez is said to have “not hesitated for a second” to answer a loose request from the Bundesliga club positively

According to “Diario Gol”, however, the matter has a big catch: the black and yellow are said to have made no further steps or attempts to make any advances as a result of Pérez’s reaction. However, according to the somewhat surprising claim of the portal, it cannot be ruled out that BVB will throw 30 million euros into the ring.

Does a change fail because of the salary requirements?

However, not only the enormous transfer fee should stand in the way of a deal: Jovic allegedly receives an annual salary of around five million euros in Madrid, in the Ruhr area this amount will hardly be offered.

In addition to BVB, Jovic was also traded at Arsenal FC, Everton FC, AC Milan and Inter. However, the rumors were not really concrete.

Jovic hardly gets any playing time at Real Madrid. The striker, for whom the Royals transferred 63 million euros to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019, has only appeared 17 times this season. In the league he has not been allowed to start from the start, only one goal and two assists are recorded.
