In the intermediate round of the Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain presented with an away win in the first leg at Stade Brest.
PSG won 3-0 (2-0) on Tuesday evening and thus gained a good starting point for the second leg next week in Paris.
In the intermediate round, the 16 teams, who have occupied 9 to 24 in the leagueapse among the 36 teams. The winners meet the teams of places 1 to 8 in the round of 16, and the encounters will be drawn on February 21. Two different opponents are possible for each qualified team.

PSG made clear conditions in the first half. Vitinha met with a penalty for leadership (21st), Ousmane Dembélé increased in the 45th minute to the right in the penalty area at the presentation of Achraf Hakimi. Brest had his best phase and good chances between the two goals, and Abdallah Sima failed after a corner by head on the post (35th).
Paris made everything clear in the second half: Désiré Doué’s goal did not count because of a narrow offside position (50th), Dembélé ensured clear conditions (66.) after a misjudged clarification attempt by the hosts with a deflected shot (66.).
The winner of the encounter meets FC Liverpool or FC Barcelona in the round of 16.
