Maccabi Haifa caused a huge surprise on Tuesday (10/11/22) in Group H of the Champions League. The team from Israel won the second leg against Juventus Turin 2-0 (2-0), after the Italians had won 3-1 in the first leg the previous week. Omer Atzili (7’/42′) scored both goals for Haifa.

Man City goalless without Haaland in Copenhagen
Without his star striker Erling Haaland and outnumbered, Manchester City also suffered an unexpected setback. The leaders of Group G, in which Borussia Dortmund also plays, gave up their first points in the fourth game.
Ex-Dortmunder Haaland was rested by coach Pep Guardiola. Manchester played an hour outnumbered in Copenhagen after Sergio Gomez, who also used to play for BVB, saw a red card in the 30th minute because of an emergency brake. Riyad Mahrez (25th) had previously missed a hand penalty, the referee had denied a goal by Rodri after video evidence (11th).
