There will also be a German World Cup participant in the final of the “premier class”. It is now clear whether Kai Havertz will be on the pitch for Arsenal at kick-off. In Paris, the feared offensive is fit.

With German national player Kai Havertz in the starting line-up, Arsenal FC will go into the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain (Saturday from 6 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online). The Gunners announced this in a post on social media. Attacker Viktor Gyökeres moves to the bench for Havertz.

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta puts Havertz between wingers Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard. Captain Martin Odegaard should pull the strings in the center. This season, Havertz was plagued by bad luck with injuries for a long time and missed 35 games.

Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain will play on Saturday with their best line-up including the recently injured regular players Ousmane Dembélé and Achraf Hakimi.

Dembélé: “I’m 100 percent fit”

World footballer Dembélé suffered a calf injury in the last Ligue 1 game against Paris FC on May 17th, but returned to team training last Tuesday. “I had 10 to 15 days to get myself in shape,” said the Frenchman on Friday and announced: “That’s why I’m 100 percent fit for this final.” He starts with Chwitscha Kwarazchelia and Désiré Doué in the offensive three-man line.

Moroccan full-back Hakimi has recovered from a thigh injury he suffered in the semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich in the premier class on April 28. He now starts alongside defense chief Marquinhos, former Frankfurt player Willian Pacho and left-back Nuno Mendes.

In 2021, Havertz shot Chelsea to victory in the premier class. He scored the golden goal in the 1-0 win over Manchester City.

The lineups at a glance:

Paris: Safonov – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Nuno Mendes – Ruiz, Vitinha, João Neves – Doué, Dembélé, Kwarazchelia – Coach: Enrique

Arsenal: Raya – Mosquera, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapié – Rice, Lewis-Skelly – Saka, Odegaard, Trossard – Havertz – Coach: Arteta
