After a brilliant second half, Borussia Dortmund started the 2025/26 Champions League season with a draw at Juventus. After an event lows 45 minutes, the post suddenly went off after the change of sides, in the end there was a 4: 4 (0: 0) tacking for the team of Niko Kovac, although three minutes before the final whistle was made with two goals.

Karim Adeyemi gave BVB a little out of nowhere in the 52nd minute with a rich left shot. This goal was the starting signal for a wild second half. First, Kenan Yıldız equalized with a remarkable long -range shot (63.), only two minutes restored the lead. It also took two minutes for Dušan Vlahović to score for the Bianconeri for the second time. It was Yan Couto who had the Dortmund away rank cheered for the third time (74th), Ramy Bensebaini actually made everything clear in the 85th minute. The new connection between Vlahović (90.+4) gave the Italians hope again, Lloyd Kelly then hit the Dortmund heart in the 96th minute.

“The competition is so big in this competition, it is important that we start well,” said Kovac before the game at Amazon Prime Video. However, Juve had the first chance. Khéphren Thuram’s long-range shot was deflected by NMECHA and BVB keeper Gregor Kobel had to show his entire class to scratch the ball from the corner (4th).

In the evening, even warm temperatures in Piedmont, a torn game developed. The Dortmunders initially worked out significantly more possession, but made numerous playback errors in the game forward. At the end the BVB didn’t come at all. It was characteristic of an attempt by Adeyemi that flew towards the corner flag rather than towards the gate.

Maybe because Borussia did not really demand the Juve defense, the hosts went on the offensive. The team of coach Igor Tudor showed partly handsome ball relays on the way forward and took out a few corners. However, Kobel was no longer really challenged. A shot from the former Leipzig Loïs Openda did not pose problems for the Swiss. Openda also belonged to the first scene of the second round. A remarkable fall back in the Dortmund penalty area brought the Belgian applause. However, a gate would not have counted because of an offside position.

Shortly afterwards the BVB struck. Guirassy played for Adeyemi, the 23-year-old presented the ball and then shot precisely from shortly before the penalty area. Euphorically, he could celebrate the fan curve in front of the Dortmund. Previously, Maximilian Beier had failed on the post from a very pointed angle.

Dortmund was now much better in the game. The BVB suddenly acted determined and by train to the goal. Guirassy had the 2-0 on his foot, but failed from a short distance from Juve goalkeeper Michele di Gregorio. Because Juve attacked courageously, a big football show developed. First Yildiz met with a dream goal to equalize, but in return, NMECHA had the BVB supporters cheer again.

But that was far from it. Juve only needed three minutes for the answer. Substitute Vlahović scored 2-2. However, BVB was not satisfied with the point. Couto used a defensive error and scored 3-2 with a shot in the short corner. Bensbaini made the preliminary decision with a penalty – before Vlahović only scored the connecting goal in added time and then also prepared the compensation of Lloyd Kelly
