Chamber wants a tougher and faster approach to domestic violence: ‘Victim safety must come first’

Action must be taken more quickly when signals of domestic violence occur, sometimes even before criminal offenses have been proven. The VVD has come up with a plan that calls on the cabinet to make this legally possible. The proposal, co-submitted by D66 and PN, is heading for a majority in the House of Representatives with support from JA21.
