Oliver Schmutz, CFO / Finance Director at Kursaal Bern AG, has decided to take on a new professional challenge outside of the Kursaal Bern Group. He will leave the company in mid-2023. Until then, he will continue to exercise his function and hand over his activities in an orderly manner. The successor will be informed in due course.
Oliver Schmutz has been working for the Kursaal Bern Group for eight years. He confidently managed the finance department and consistently developed it strategically and operationally. He was able to successfully contribute his wealth of experience from the financial and gastronomy sectors. With his team, he developed and implemented important instruments and processes. Further milestones of his work were the share capital increase and the IPO (2021), where he established the regulatory requirements and accounting rules for listed companies, as well as the organization and execution of the financial planning across the entire group during the pandemic years.

Prof. Emeritus dr Daniel Buser is very confident about the future.
