Gianfranco Gianangeli is stepping down as CEO of fashion house Maison Margiela, the company confirmed in writing to FashionUnited. Gianangeli took over the management of the Belgian fashion house 2020.
The managing director left the company at his own request and will vacate his position in the coming weeks. The reason for his departure is not yet known. It is also not known who will succeed Gianangeli. More information on this will be announced in the coming weeks, Maison Margiela announced.
Before joining Maison Margiela, Gianangeli worked at companies such as Givenchy, Prada and Bottega Veneta.
