The Central and West Brabant Security Region received 75 reports of storm damage on Sunday evening via the 112 emergency number.
According to the Safety Region, the fire brigade actually had to turn out in 25 reports. Earlier on Sunday, people were urged to only call 112 in case of acute danger or emergency.
The Dutch fire brigade had their hands more than full this weekend with storm Eunice. Between 00:00 a.m. Friday and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, more than 11,000 reports were received nationally at the 25 security regions, the Institute for Physical Safety reports. No figures are yet available about the number of reports to the other Brabant security regions.
