GIANT TURKISH FLAG LAUNCHED

While the delegation took their place at the stadium to watch the final wrestling, the giant Turkish flag was traditionally unfurled at the stadium.


CENGİZHAN ŞİMŞEK BEATED BALABAN IN THE SEMI-FINAL


The match between 2013 and 2017 chief wrestler İsmail Balaban and Cengizhan Şimşek, who has been at the head since 2019, started with İsmail Balaban’s counterattacks. Cengizhan Şimşek struggled to nullify Balaban’s effort to make a play out of hoops and trotters. As the regular time approached, the hard hands, neck and scythes of both wrestlers showed how stressed the wrestlers were. In the 56th minute of the match, Mustafa Taş, who lost his balance by dragging his opponent, who was wrapped under his armpits, won the wrestling by getting points from his opponent.
