CD&V insists on a separate status for ineligible unemployed people: “If we do not intervene now, these people will disappear from the radar”

Majority party CD&V is asking for a solution for the more than 10,000 unemployed people who are in danger of losing their benefits, but are considered “not eligible for work”. Flemish Minister of Social Economy Hilde Crevits is urging the federal government for a separate status with a replacement income.
